Step 1: Keep Informed About Upcoming IDOs
There are numerous ways you can get notified about upcoming IDOs on Scaleswap:

Step 2: Research and Due Diligence
Blockchain startups launching on Scaleswap are highly-vetted by our team and board. While we’ve earned the reputation as one of the most selective launchpads in this space, we still recommend that everyone conducts their own due diligence before participating. There are often in-depth community discussions about each project in our official Telegram group, or the unofficial (community-run) trading group.
Step 3: Start Building Your ScaleSCORE
While other launchpads might take one or two purely budget-driven dimensions into account to determine who qualifies to participate in each IDO, ScaleSCORE is a multidimensional scoring system that empowers users based on their loyalty and involvement, with a minimal impact on buying power. Step 4: Apply to Be Whitelisted and Complete KYC
Once you’ve established your ScaleSCORE and have verified that your rank is high enough to participate in the private pool for the IDO you’ve chosen, the next step is to get your wallet address whitelisted. The best way to get notified about whitelist application dates and details is by signing up for email notifications. You can also enable push notifications on your mobile device for our Telegram Announcement channel or Twitter Account

- Complete KYC (this is necessary to ensure a fair, transparent, and legally compliant launch)
- Kick back and relax while Scaleswap and our KYC provider processes each of the requests. Approved applicants will receive notification by email
Additional notes:
- If you’re just getting started in the cryptocurrency space, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with using a crypto wallet. We highly recommend Metamask
- Details vary for each project but typically the IDO is offered through two types of pools.
- Private pool allocation is larger and participation is guaranteed based on ScaleSCORE rankings. We highly recommend this option
- We also offer a public pool for most IDOs. However, allocation in the public pool is much smaller and your chances of securing a spot are lower due to eligibility being determined first by luck (lottery-based whitelisting) and then speed (first come, first serve participation).
Step 5: Ready for Launch!
Congratulations! Now that your whitelist application and KYC have been approved, keep an eye out for the date and time of the IDO. We’ll also release a comprehensive “how-to participate” article for each IDO that will guide you through the entire process – from getting your funds prepared, to swapping and claiming your tokens.
